This page lists every piece of information the digital EOI collects, in the order the wizard asks for it. Use it to compare against your own EOI form, or to brief an agent before they sit down with a buyer. Required means the agent cannot continue past the step, or submit, without it. Steps that do not apply to a purchase are skipped, so a cash buyer never sees the broker step and an individual buyer never sees the entity steps.

Starting the EOI

Individual buyers

Up to four buyers on one EOI, one screen each.

Company, trust or SMSF details

Asked once, when the purchaser is an entity. The name fills in automatically from the ABN where the lookup finds it. Documents can be a PDF or an image.

People behind the entity

Everyone who owns or controls the company, trust or fund, one screen each, as many as needed. Each of them also has their ID sighted on the Upload IDs step.

Ownership

Shown when there is more than one buyer.

Purchase details

Finance

Solicitor or conveyancer

Finance broker

Optional: the agent can skip it if the buyer is going direct to their bank or has not chosen a broker.

Upload IDs

One screen for each buyer, and for each person behind an entity. The agent sights the original ID in person.

Review and submit

What the EOI does not collect

  • The ID document number. Only the type of document, the images, and where and when the agent met the buyer.
  • Tax file numbers, bank account details or signatures. Electronic submission consent replaces the signature.
The submitted EOI becomes the contract pack your team receives: every field above, laid out for the contract, with the ID images and documents attached. See What Happens Next.
