A facade is the external appearance of a design. Each design can carry several facades, so the same floor plan can be presented in different street elevations and colour schemes. Open Library in the main navigation, then the Facades tab. The Facades tab in the Construction Library

Reading the list

Use the search box to find a facade by name. To download your facades, use Export Library at the top of the Construction Library (see Exporting the library).

Adding facades

1

Click + Facade

Add one facade at a time and fill in its details.
2

Upload the image

The render or photo agents will see against the package.
3

Enter the details

Name, colour scheme, elevation, garages, and the lot width range it suits.
4

Link it to designs

A facade is only offered on the designs it is linked to.

Adding several at once

Add Facade by Images creates facades in bulk from a set of image files. Each image becomes a facade, named from its filename, so name the files the way you want the facades named before you upload.
Bulk upload gets the images in quickly, but the new facades still need their colour scheme, widths and design links filled in afterwards.

Linking to designs

A facade can be linked to as many designs as it suits. Once linked, it becomes selectable when a package is built from that design, and the package picks up the facade’s imagery and any price difference.
