Configure commission structures in your library and assign them to designs, packages, or individual agents.

Commission Templates (Library)

Create reusable commission rate templates in Library → Commissions.

Rate Types

  • Flat Rate: Fixed dollar amount (e.g., $15,000)
  • Percentage: Percentage of package price (e.g., 2.5%)

Creating a Template

  1. Go to Library → Commissions
  2. Click + Commission
  3. Enter a name (e.g., “Standard”, “$15K”, “Premium 3%”)
  4. Select rate type and enter the amount
  5. Save

Assigning Commissions

Commission rates can be assigned at multiple levels:

Design Level

Assign a commission to a floor plan to increase the commission for that design across all packages using it.
  1. Go to Library → Designs
  2. Open a design
  3. Set the Commission Rate
  4. All packages using this design inherit this rate
Use case: Incentivise agents to sell specific house designs.

Package Level

Override the design commission for a specific package.
  1. Open a package
  2. Go to the Commission section
  3. Select a different commission template
  4. Save
Use case: Special promotions on specific packages.

User Level (Agent-Specific)

Assign custom commission rates to individual agents. See Agent-Specific Commissions for details.

Commission Hierarchy

When multiple commission rates apply:
  1. User-specific commission (highest priority)
  2. Package-level commission
  3. Design-level commission
  4. Default commission (lowest priority)

Marketing Fees

Marketing fees are separate contributions that can be added to packages:
  • Set at project or package level
  • Typically covers marketing costs
  • Can be flat rate or percentage

Best Practices

  • Create templates for common commission structures
  • Use design-level commissions to promote specific floor plans
  • Reserve user-specific rates for high-performing agents
  • Document commission agreements clearly
