Linking your Property Portal to a Sub-Domain
When your property portal is established the next step is connecting it to a new domain name or a sub-domain through your domain name registrar.
This gives you a range of options. To illustrate this here are some examples of how the builder Metricon could name their portal:
Buying a new domain name:
- MetriconPortal.com
- Metricon.agency
- MetriconProjectSales.com.au
- InnovativeProjectSales.com
Using a subdomain, which is a prefix on an existing domain:
- portal.metricon.com.au
- properties.metricon.com.au
- projects.metricon.com.au
How To
Head over to your domain name hosting service.
Set up a sub-domain in your domain host as follows:
- Pick a subdomain prefix name like portal, agents, properties, projects that makes sense for your company.
- Create a CNAME that points to your chosen portal template:
- set the Target to portal.kenekt.com.au
Example below
- Email Support with your domain name to complete the linking process in Kenekt: team@kenekt.com.au
- It can take up to 12-24hrs before the domain is available.
