Projects: Adding new developments
Before you add land lots, it is helpful to establish Projects to group them. This will be the estate or development that all of the lots belong to.
Gather the Info
Before you start you will need the relevant information to hand. Below are the fields you will need. There is a template spreadsheet where you can enter lists of projects under these column headers. Look for the tab/sheet labelled Projects. You don’t have to use this template - once you are familiar with the data required you will probably find it easier to enter everything directly into Kenekt.
Project Headline | This title will show up on marketing documents |
Portal Price Headline | e.g. From $500,000 |
Marketing Categories | You can add multiple tags here, e.g. House & Land Packages (most will be this category), Apartment/Unit packages, Established Homes, FIRB Approved, Land Estate, Manage, NDIS, New Homes, Rent, SMSF Real Estate. |
Project Vendor | Primary contact for these project lots |
Land Registration Date | e.g. Registered, or a future date |
Description | e.g. a paragraph about the Project / listing. This will appear in the marketing material. |
Address: Street | An identifiable point within the estate. We need all of these 4 fields: Street Name, Suburb & Postcode, State. |
Suburb | |
Postcode | |
State |
How to add a Project
This will bring up this New Project Creation screen, where you can enter all the key data about the project:
Using the Search Address tool at the top right will help you find a validated address and automatically populate all the other fields correctly.
Editing Projects
Once you have created a Project by saving changes on the New Project Creation screen, a header will appear. In this header you have the option to change the Project Status. You can take a Project Offline or move it back to being Available, or Archived, for example. And you get 5 tabs to navigate between the key data fields in Info, media and covenants, lots, and land distribution.
In the Media tab, you can add media that is specific to the whole Project and it will carry across and be available to all the Lots and Packages that you create within that Project. You can drag photos and files to reorganise them.
