Assigning Facades to a Design

The first step in establishing your Construction Library is to setup your Facade and Building Designs (Floor Plans). After that, you need to assign which facades can go with which house designs.

If you are editing a package and are unable to select the Facade you want, because it isn't showing up, this means that it has not been assigned or linked to that Design in the Library. Further down this article we will explain how to link that.

A Facade is an inventory item and needs some extra details to be usable in a package.

Facade Price: If this Facade incurs an upgrade cost to the design base price, add it here.

Facade Images:

Facade Images are used in your Property Flyer - so a higher quality image is preferred. Images are reduced in size for use on the internet and in your portal. Larger images doesn't mean better quality. Please don't rely on screen capture images, they are not of a professional quality.

  • Min Dimensions: 1920x1400 in size, 72dpi
  • File Size: up to 3mb in size.

How to add a new Facade:

Navigate to Construction Library > Facade

Click the green button at the right '+Facade' to add a new Facade.

In the next screen, add a Facade Name, a price (if applicable), and Type (if single or double story). Drag the appropriate photo for the Facade under photos.

Once all these details are in, the new facade is available to be assigned to a design.

How to Assign a Facade to a Design

To assign a facade to a design, go to the Design section of the Construction Library by clicking

'Library > Design'

Click on the Design you wish to update with a Facade option.

You will now be on 'Edit Design' view.  Click on the 'Facade' Tab.

This tab will show all the Facades in the Construction Library. Choose the Facade that you want to make available for this specific design you are modifying, by toggling the button in the 'Linked?' column. When the toggle goes green, then the Facade is linked.
