Following up invited agents

Once you have invited all of your agents, you may notice that some haven’t activated or logged in.  In some cases this may be due to resistance to change or that the agent hasn’t understood the benefits of the portal, such as the real time data, the branding or the centralised database potentially across multiple builders they already work with, but it may just be a technical issue.

If you have many agents who aren't logging in, the easiest way to address this is to email them all your portal URL and advise them to use the Forgot Password pathway to reset their password, but there is also an inbuilt feature in the platform that can re-send invitations to those who haven't activated.

One last option is to send them a link to their personal stocklist, that bypasses the need to login, but this version of the portal has some constraints.

To review the status of your invited agents, go to the stock management system, and click on Team Members, from the drop down settings menu at the top right corner of the screen.

Click on the Agents tab to review the Agents and Agencies that you have added.

This will show you their activation status and, if active, what date they last logged in.

RESENDING INVITATION EMAILS

If someone has the black ‘Not Activated’ tag, then you can resend them the Invitation email.

Click on the 3 dots at the far right, and you get this menu.  Click on Edit Info to access that agent’s profile.

Click on the ‘Invitation Email’ tab, then click on the ‘Send Activation Email’ button

SPAM FILTERS

Occasionally the agent may not have activated because they did not receive the Invitation Email, due to their emails being filtered.

So it can be a good idea to email the agent directly as well, advising them to check their spam filters.   If you include your portal URL, and advise them to use the Forgot Password pathway to reset their password, then they won’t need the activation email.

PRIVATE STOCKLIST

Clicking this Private Stocklist link will take you to the version of the stocklist they can access directly, bypassing the need to log in, which may be helpful when someone is particularly reluctant to log in to a portal, but there are some constraints in this version. It doesn't show logos and it would be preferable to encourage agents to log in correctly.
